It’s September and marching band season is at full throttle!  This means, PVHS Band fundraising opportunities are a plenty!

Band Auction Update

Plans are underway for our upcoming Auction fundraiser to be held Tuesday, December 11th, PVHS Holiday Concert at PVHS Auditorium.  Please join the committee for our next meeting, TUESDAY, September 11th, 6:15 pm in the Band Room.  Many hands will make light work!  This is our band’s largest fundraising event and everyone’s help is needed to ensure the evening a success! 

Currently, people are needed to walk retail areas with pre-printed donation request letters and ask for donations from area businesses.  The areas that need to be walked with letters include: 
                        Desert Ridge
                        101 & Scottsdale Road
                        Kierland (Greenway and Scottsdale Road)

DINNER FUNDRAISERS
Our 1st Dinner Fundraiser at Fuddrucker’s on September 29th was a terrific success!  Thank you all for your support and coming out to mingle and support your BPO.  The amount generated by this fundraiser event will be reported at our BPO General Meeting on Thursday, September 13th. 

Mark you calendar now for two more BPO Dinner Fundraisers:
Sept. 26 (Wednesday)  Eatza Pizza (32nd   & Bell) from 4 – 9 pm
Oct. 24 (Wednesday)  Boston Market (40th & Thunderbird.  This fundraiser will include eat-in and drive through. Volunteers are needed to pass out flyers at the drive thru area, inside the restaurant and on the street corner!  Sign up sheet will be placed in the band room on the BPO Board in October.
